The call for applicants for the Master’s Degree in Southeast European Studies: Politics, History, Economics is now open. The programme is taught entirely in English and will accept up to thirty (30) graduate students for the academic year 2025-2026. It is primarily addressed to graduates with a first degree in the social sciences and humanities (politics, sociology, economics, political and social history, social anthropology, Balkan studies, journalism, international relations and European studies). 

Students who are citizens of specified Southeast European countries (i.e., Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, and Serbia) and who are not in receipt of a scholarship from any other source (to be confirmed by an official declaration upon arrival in Athens) may apply for a fee waiver/internship. The Master’s Programme also offers tuition fees waivers to other categories of eligible students in accordance with the applicable law and the Master’s Regulation.
