The postgraduate program "Public Law and Public Policy" was established in 1995, named as "State and Public Policy" till 2014. It is a full time program that leads to a master’s degree.
The course provides students with an advanced multidisciplinary understanding of the functioning of the contemporary state and public policy. It combines theoretical and methodological approaches from public policy, law and social policy.
The curriculum was designed for the needs of students who wish to follow a career as policy analysts in national, European or international organizations. It offers a wide range of taught courses covering subjects such as public analysis, public administration theory and practice, public law, evolution of the modern state, social policy, local government, environmental law and policy, protections of human rights, Greek public administration, European integration and public administration reform.
During the first thirteen years of its operation, 240 students have successfully graduated from the program. The majority of our graduates are employed by a wide range of organizations in the public and private sector.
