Curriculum Vitae

Professor Michael J. Tsinisizelis was born in Athens in September 1955 and retired in 2023. He studied in Greece and the United Kingdom and holds a PhD degree from the University of Manchester since 1985. He taught "Comparative Federalism", "Comparative European Politics" , "European Union Politics" and "Theory of Integration" at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens at both undergraduate and graduate levels.He also taught European Politics at the Graduate Program of the Economic University of Athens. He has taught in several UK Universities and has been an invited speaker in several countries including China, Taiwan, Russia, USA etc. He speaks fluently English and French and commands a working knowledge of German and Spanish. From 2010 to 2014 he had been the Dean of the School of Law, Economics and Political Science of the University of Athens.
