EUROPEAN INTEGRATION LAW

This class aims to provide an introduction to the critical understanding of the ways and degree that the European Union legal order has affected the regulation of various aspects of the operation of European Union Member States. This is achieved through a short depiction of the stages of formation of the regulatory framework of European integration. It is also achieved by pointing out the basic substantive and methodological principles of European Union law as well as the interconnection between the national and European Union legal orders. There is also particular emphasis on an introductory overview of specific European Union law fields and especially European Union competition law, European Union Law of State aid and other topical sectors regarding the regulation of vital economic sectors based on European Union law.
